The Dockside Bar & Grill

Ate here for the first time this evening- service was fast and friendly, food was delicious. Would love to come back and sit on the patio when it’s warmer. Nice atmosphere- brought our kids (7-17) and all found something they enjoyed.

Made a proper reservation at the Remington across the street. Over 2 week noticed for the reservation. Table of 12. We all showed up properly on time and the table wasn't ready. Okay! No big deal we will all grab a drink at the bar and wait. Over an hour goes by. Still not ready. As a last ditch effort we call dockside across the street, we talked to the manager who took our table on the fly. We couldn't believe. Table of 12 last minute 8pm on a Saturday. My friends and I are forever grateful service was excellent, food was excellent! If there was a way for me to give a higher rating I would absolutely do it. I tell everyone this story. Thanks for reading! Long story short, book at dockside. Don't go to the Remington.

My husband and I had dinner at Dockside on a Saturday evening. We made reservations, but it probably was unnecessary since most of the upstairs was still open. The ambience is nice, it feels very classy without being too over the top. We sat near a view of the water. Unfortunately, it was already dark so we would love to come back to appreciate the view more during the daytime. The restaurant was running a Black Friday special: soup or salad, a select entree and a select dessert for 26. Such a great deal! We both got different selections from this menu. I ordered the Angry Pirate cocktail which was very refreshing! I had a house salad which was quite sizable and full of fresh ingredients. For my entree I had a Cajun crusted salmon, which was cooked to perfection. I hope this makes it onto the menu permanently. For dessert, I had the salted caramel brownie with ice cream, which was delicious! My husband had a chicken, corn and sausage soup of the day which he loved. His entree was the steak frites. The steak paired well with the thin cut fries and it was very tender. His dessert was an ice cream sundae. The server was very attentive and efficient. We were impressed at how little timing there was in between courses. Excellent presentation of the food as you can see by the pictures. We will definitely be back!

We stopped here on a very busy Sunday late afternoon during Canalfest. There was a half hour wait to be seated in the restaurant, but as we were only ordering appetizers they said we could sit in the bar area. We found a table outside on the water with a pretty view. The stuffed clams and the shrimp were delicious! Service was fast and servers attentive! Highly recommended!!!

Wow! Everything about our dinner here was great, it was easy to make reservations for our group of seven, we were greeted at the door by multiple staff members, and our server was so kind and helpful. All of the food that we ordered was great, we tried a few appetizers, several different meals, and several different cocktails from their menu All were fabulous! The atmosphere was nice and we had a really good time overall.

Relaxing view, large parking lot and easy access to doc a boat. The drinks and food were good except the steak. It didn't taste fresh and reminded me of a chain restaurants like Applebee's. Update 9/27 Ordered the crab cakes. Wasn't thrilled when I saw corn on top, but I was surprised at how well everything tasted together. 100% recommend.

Bella was the best server ever! She was very quick, made sure everything came out right and was very attentive to our table. I was in on Wednesday and the food was great! We even came back on Sunday to see her again.

Had to check out those boozy milkshakes! Absolutely love this place. The service was fantastic in the food was pretty tasty. Definitely want to go back in the summer time but it was still nice in the winter.
